☆Starlight Paradise Resorts  Booking Policies☆

Please read the below policies so that we are clear on the policies and terms of booking a getaway.

My policies are created to protect your time and money, and mine as well. When a getaway is booked you are reserving the use of the sim and the time of the staff.

I want to avoid any issues, so that every guest receives the best getaway, however if you are in need of something please come speak to me. My customer’s happiness is very important to me, thank you!

Services/Bookings:
Services and Bookings requested at the time of booking comprise the total cost. Any changes to services will change the price. This will be dependent on the services you chose to customize your stay. Once a total price and set of services is agreed upon and the deposit paid, changes may be made, but the cost will never decrease. Please also note, that we cannot control some aspects of Second Life and its users, so if we are unable to provide part of a package for any reason, we will substitute it with something of equal or greater value. If you have any questions about this, please ask us and we will be happy to explain in greater detail.

Deposit/Payments:
A 50% deposit is required when reserving your vacation/honeymoon/getaway date.
Deposits are non-refundable.  No refunds are offered, no exceptions.

Vacation/Honeymoon/Getaway Dates and Times:
They are booked on a 'first come, first serve' basis and are subject to prior reservations affecting availability.

Second life Issues:
If Second Life is “down”, we will reschedule as soon as possible.  There is no fee for this. However, all issues that Second Life may cause are not the responsibility of Starlight Paradise Resorts.

Check In / Check Out Time:
The check in time must be what is agreed upon at the time of booking and late Check In's will use up your agreed upon stay. Check out time must be what is agreed upon at the time of booking and late Check Out's will only be considered if request is made prior to 3 hours before check out time and can be accommodated with resort/suite availability. Late Check Out is subject to additional fees.

Concierge Services:
With every stay, a concierge is available for your needs during normal business hours. Each concierge may have different business hours and you will be notified of those at check in time. If for some reason a concierge is not available when you are in need of something, please send a notecard or email. Contact information for the concierge is provided in the itinerary. Someone on staff will be in touch as soon as possible within reason.

Concierges can also provide special touches to your suite to make your stay perfect for you. Special requests should be made prior to check in and are limited to what can be procured within SecondLife and may be subject to additional fees. You will be notified of any fees before we agree to provide such special requests.

Postponements:
If you have to postpone your vacation/honeymoon/getaway, we will reschedule once for no fee providing you notify us at least 72 hours prior to the Check In Date and provide the new date within 24 hours. The new Check In date must occur within 1 month of the original booking date unless we cannot accommodate your schedule within that time within reason.  Any additional postponements, or ones with insufficient notice, will be subject to a fee equivalent to 15% of your package price, or 500L, whichever is more.

Cancellations:
Cancellations can occur, however no deposits are refunded unless we have to cancel your reservation for some reason.

Ownership:
A vacation/honeymoon/getaway booked with Starlight Paradise Resorts is owned solely by the avatar who has paid the initial payment and secured booking. Bookings may not be transferred to another individual, alternative account, partner, or couple.
